Just like to advise that I’m thoroughly impressed with Stephanie, her manner with the horses and the job she is doing is great.” - Greg H, Nov 2011
Star and I would really like to thank you for all your help and encouragement with our transition from shod to barefoot. I’m sure I would have given up on going barefoot long ago without your continued support, as it’s not always easy. It is great having you trim Star’s feet and I have learnt so much from you which has helped me maintain his feet between visits. Your help with boot fitting has been invaluable, and I would have found it impossible without your input. Your advice, whether in person, by phone or by e-mail is always useful and much appreciated.” - Lee W, Bendigo
In the past, we have had a lot of difficulty finding someone suitable to look after Jarrah’s hooves because she can be very flighty and scares easily. Both you and Sandi have been very gentle and Jarrah responds extremely well to you both and trusts you totally which is great and means a lot to us. We are extremely happy with the thorough attention you pay to every aspect of your work. We would highly recommend you as the improvement in Jarrah’s hooves is tremendous. Thank you very much for the care and attention you have given us.” - Celia Luke & Jarrah, Mt Wallace, Vic
The pony is moving heaps better… really striding out when asked and hasn’t got that choppy look to his stride that he has always had and is not lifting his knees as high. Going to ride him tomorrow and see what he feels like, yet the two days on the lunge he is doing extensions at the trot and he never could do that before. Just thought I’d let you know. ” - Kat White, Kypara Lodge Show Team. Feb 2011
Received the boots on Thursday and fitted them Saturday. They were fantastic – no twisting or rubs. And she felt great, really relaxed and steady. It’s as if she’s stopped running away from her feet. And we trotted down the lane too! Thanks again for your help and encouragement.” - Bronwyn H & Greta, Dingley, Vic.
Just have to offer a plug for Rebecca’s work, knowledge and skill! The improvements in the condition of Ballantyne’s and Doc’s hooves were amazing…We cannot recommend her highly enough!
Just have to add that this is coming from a pair of former sceptics and non believers as such. Rebecca never ‘pushed’ herself or methods upon us, but was always available to offer advice, suggestions, practical demonstrations and answers to ANY question we had for her!” – Pia Webster, Central Vic.
I can’t thank you enough for all the horsey help & advice you give. I really appreciate your help and knowledge!” - Jenny S and & Noggs, who transitioned from shod to barefoot in North East Victoria
Thank you so much for all the information. We will definitely be recommending you after the care and attention you have shown.” - Catherine B & Belle, Mornington Peninsula
The horse is working well – he is extending exceptionally. Certainly there were no sore feet. They look great. I shall keep you informed.”- Coralie P, Tarneit
His feet are looking brilliant, they have come a long way. The crack has nearly disappeared. Thank you….We both are very happy. You are gentle and he trusts you, for Prince that is a big step.” - Nathalie V & Prince, Truganina
Rebecca is a knowledgeable and caring barefoot practitioner. Her help and advice has been invaluable in my horse’s successful barefoot transition, and with her active encouragement I was able to take a course in barefoot trimming for home! Her backup support is fantastic, and she has also recommended some great natural equine health practitioners. Thanks to Rebecca my horse is healthier from head to toe. She is the ideal person to support your barefoot transition and day-to-day equine podiatry needs.”

Ruler suffering white line disease in shoes…. Rebecca’s work is second to none, and when she had him trotting around on a gravel road, without a faltered step, it was rather hard not to burst into tears from just sheer relief (however I won’t promise I didn’t have a cry after she left). When Ruler was taken back to his paddock, he was kicking up his heels and galloping around that place like he had the devil on his heels. I NEVER EVER thought I would see that horse go faster than a painful walk again. Now, I’m not saying he’s all cured, and that there’s no work left to do…but I will say this transformation in our horse is nothing less than amazing. I’m not too proud to admit I too was skeptical about this barefoot trimming stuff once upon a time, and thought out of any horse it would work for, Ruler would be at the bottom of the list. I guess both Rebecca and Ruler have proved us wrong. Thank you Rebecca…you saved our boy’s life and I don’t think words are adequate enough to describe how we were feeling when we saw him galloping around and playing with the lil brumby and our big standy today. The difference in him is just so amazing.”
